Day2 (Nap1)

1:01 AM
So, I didn’t actually sleep during this nap; just kind of rested. My room-mate had friends over & I think for some reason that made it harder for me to fall asleep. Regardless, I've got another nap very soon (3:30am)! :) and that'll be good. I'm considering going on a walk, but I also need to work on some of my class stuff… I think I'm going to go on a walk. It's kind of freezing in the apartment, and hopefully if I go out and get my heart rate up, I'll be warmer (actually I know that'll happen). Time for the obligatory Psych. State analysis first though:
Psychological States ( 1=low --> 5=high)
Feeling of "Tiredness" | 2 |
Hunger | 2 |
Clarity of thoughts | 4 |
Willingness to exercise | 4 |
Willingness to write | 4 |
Memory recall ability | 4 |
Awareness of surroundings | 3 |
Feelings of anxiety | 3 |
Calmness | 2 |
Frequency of odd thoughts | 1 |
Errors of mind/typing | 2 |
Schedule Adherence | 4 |
Productivity | 2 |
Basically I just don't feel like I'm getting anything "done," but I did clean my room :) And I made my "List of things to do." So, logically, I know that I am getting some things done. Walk time.
1:23am: Going on a semi-brisk walk was a really good idea. I'm definitely warmer now, and also feel more awake than beforehand. Walks are good :)
Side-note: One of my neighbors was outside on our shared porch reading. I wonder if she's just having a night where she can't sleep, or if she is just a night-owl. It'd be WAY too hopeful for me to think she might be polyphasic. If nothing else though, it gave me an idea for what to do if I'm feeling "cooped" in my room: go outside to read a book :)
